Salt Lake Chapter APG

Modern genealogy encompasses a wide variety of specialties. Members of the Salt Lake Chapter (founded 1992) of the Association of Professional Genealogists not only have a versatile set of skills, they also have access to family history materials from around the world.

The Association of Professional Genealogists provides one umbrella for the diverse roles of modern genealogy. Our members come from many different backgrounds, each one bringing a unique blend of talent and experience.

The APG umbrella is also a powerful resource for networking, education, and arbitration. Our clients rely on the APG Directory to find the right professional and they trust APG members to adhere to professional standards. Use the member directory here on our website to find the right professional for your family history needs. Our members have experience in a variety of research areas and many members also publish and/or sell genealogical products.

The Salt Lake Chapter subscribes to the APG Code of Ethics. We have quarterly meetings and topics are listed on the chapter calendar.
