Two case studies will be discussed: one showing Y-chromosome DNA
test results concluded "there is now a substantial preponderance
of evidence" for determining the correct ancestor; and the
other covering the problems encountered trying to verify whether
a colonial New England ancestress was a Native American using mt-DNA.
